Lush Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Face Mask review

Hey Everyone!

Sorry I haven't been posting everyday - school has started for me so I'm a little busier, I'm planning on uploading something 3 times a week minimum for now, I'll have to see how it goes from there

Anyways, on my makeup favourites, I got a few comments about the Lush mask I mentioned, so I thought I would make a more in-depth review and explanation of the product.

This face mask is made of Blueberries, Chamomile, Irish moss, and exfoliating mud, and I have to say it really does work well - it calms and cleanses my skin very effectively. You keep it in the fridge, so when applied to skin it really feels soothing and refreshing.

I like to apply quite a thick layer as I like the feeling, and also the product only lasts 3 weeks (as it's made of fresh ingredients) so I don't want to end up wasting any. As it dries, I can almost feel it soaking up any excess oil and dirt, which is a really good thing if you are like me and suffer from oily skin.

Then after it dries (5-10 minutes usually, or until it's all crumbly) I wash it off with warm water, and apply a good moisturiser. This step is crucial, because oily skin or not, everyone needs moisturiser!

I like to use this product 2-3 times a week, and I will definitely repurchase it in the future and recommend it to anyone, especially those suffering from acne as it helped mine a lot, and I am desperate to get myself back into a lush shop to pick out a new flavour!

Bye for now! <3

August Top 5 Nail Polishes

Hello Everyone!

I've decided to make a little place to share all the things I love here on the internet with whoever wants to listen.

This month, i have been loving these 5 nail polishes:

From right to left;

 Sally Hansen "Plum Luck" - a lovely deep purply colour, great consistency, not streaky at all. This colour would complement a lighter skin tone - great for the coming autumn and winter months.

Essie "Mint Candy Apple" - this one is my personal favourite, I absolutely love this colour at the moment, something about it screams summer and tan. I do find with this one, and all the other Essie products, that a second coat is definitely mandatory to get that flawless colour.

Essie "Muchi, Muchi" - not really sure what this name means but again a lovely colour, pale pastel baby pink. This looks great with a lovely summer tan, great brush, and is easy to apply.

Essie "Chinchilly" - I have not yet tried this nail polish, but i put it in here anyways just because of the beautiful colour. Slightly less daunting perhaps that the other bright colours, this is a medium grey  with slightly purply undertones. I think this would be great for special occasions or everyday.

Topshop "New Wave" - I absolutely love those summery bright orange colours, for clothes, nails, everything, and this nail polish doesn't disappoint. It's gorgeous.
